Saluki dogs are trained to participate in the most important traditional parades and festivals, such as the heritage races which are held in conjunction with Al Dhafra Festival and the Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan Camel Festival. It also became possible for Salukis to participate in falconry trips in some reserves in accordance with the hunting law in the UAE.

Saluki dogs are trained through internal exercise areas through individual running tracks attached to the accommodation rooms with an outdoor field of more than 1000 meters equipped for training twice a day, for the following :
