“The Arabian Saluki Beauty Contest ” is among the most famous Saluki events in the region and the world , a show organized by the Arabian Saluki Center for its affiliates, as part of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX), which is organized annually by the Emirates Falconers’ Club at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center.

The event aims to provide an opportunity for Saluki’s owners to showcase the skills and characteristics of their dogs. In the Arabian Saluki Beauty Contest the judges choose the winner by testing its personality ,skills in hunting, chasing, guarding, as well as its reactions and sensory response, which differs from Western dog shows that focus only on the external appearance of the dog.
